Paws Forever Garden |

“When
you have to say a final goodbye to a dearly loved pet it is always
distressing. You have lost a dear friend. If you’ve had to
say goodbye to a much-loved pet, you’ll know how sad and distressing
it really is. Your home seems quieter and you feel as if you’ve
lost a best friend. You will always have fond memories and now you
can make a lasting tribute to them.
Now, you can remember your pet with a tribute tag in PDSA’s
paw shaped garden that’s dedicated to the memories of pets.
The Paws Forever garden is a unique paw-shaped garden dedicated
to the memory of much loved pets.”
You
can pay tribute to your pet and the happy memories you hold
in the Paws Forever pet tribute garden and at the same time
help sick and injured pets to receive PDSA’s care.
PDSA have created a unique paw-shaped garden that’s
dedicated to the memories of pets. A limited number of tribute
tags are available in the garden, which are engraved to bear
the name and dates of your much-loved pet companion. |
|
Because the garden is a special memorial to pets it has been designed
in the shape of a paw with four central pillars as the garden’s
focus where the pet tribute tags hang. In return for a suggested
donation of £25, PDSA will display a personalised tribute
tag bearing a pet’s name and dates in the Paws Forever garden,
for one year.
To
order a tribute tag, complete the online
form on the PDSA website.
If you can’t visit the garden you can visit your pet’s
tribute on the PDSA website any time of day. To view the pet
tribute gallery and read tributes to much loved pets, visit
the online pet
tribute gallery. |
|
Another option is to have a permanent wall plaque in the tribute
garden. This is a limited offer. The memorial wall will hold 80
permanently placed plaques – each one celebrating the life
of a sadly missed pet. In return for a donation to PDSA in excess
of £250, each plaque will be personalised with the pet’s
name dates and a fitting message chosen by you. If you would like
to remember your pet in this unique way, please complete the online
wall
plaque order form.
When you visit the Paws Forever garden you can also wander through
PDSA’s adjacent Animal Cemetery where twelve of the UK’s
bravest ever animals are laid to rest. They are all holders of the
PDSA Dickin Medal, the animals’ Victoria Cross.
There is also a Garden of Remembrance, a perfect spot for sitting
peacefully and reflecting on the happy times shared with a much-loved
pet.
