WATCH
OUT! This website directs you to the US Fromm site for ingredient
information, which will leave you surprised when you order
it and find out that the UK-authorized manufacturer of Fromm
food ( who theoretically is still using good-quality Fromm-approved
ingredients) IS NOT using the same ingredients/formulation
as the US food listed on the US website. Whole Dog Journal
says high-quality proteins should be in the first four ingredients
of a premium dog food. Before you pay premium prices for a
premium food, make sure meals, cereals, and--ugh--derivatives
are not the top four ingredients. Fromm US lists "Duck,
Chicken Meal, Chicken" as its top three ingredients.
The UK overlay on Fromm Adult/Senior Gold purchased here lists
"Chicken, Chicken Meal, Barley" as the top ingredients
for the same food.
Reviewer
is referring to Fromm Senior Gold. |

| My
husband and I adopted our puppy, Molly, a mix of probably
everything, in June of this year when she was 3 months old.
She was on antibiotics and had a little bit of hair loss.
At the beginning we fed her what she was being fed at the
rescue, Science Diet Puppy, and she kept losing hair and scratching
all the time. We took her to the vet ruled out mange, and
switched her to Hill's Prescription Diet Z/D Ultra Allergen
Free, she stopped scratching and her hair started growing
back but she had a lot of trouble with bowel movements, plus
she HATED it, the pieces are too big and it smelled bad so
she would normally just walk away instead of eating it, also
has a preservative banned in human food. We finally switched
her to Fromm Duck and Sweet Potato, and now she gets excited
when she sees us pick up her bowl, she's finally healthy,
very happy, and her hair is finally growing in. Not to mention
she is quite beautiful. |
