Dog Warning Vest

These lightweight tabard style dog warning vests are printed with a personalised message of your choice. Use these bibs to communicate a message or warning to other people while out and about and on dog walks.

Perfect as a don't touch dog vest, for dogs who need space, dogs with special needs or in training, temperament issues, recovering from an operation or injury, shy or nervous, dogs with allergies or special dietary requirements who should not be fed, reactive dogs and so on.

Available in a choice of two high visibility (high-vis) colours or four standard colours. These warning vests are made from a soft feel polyester in bright colourfast colours and press printed with a clear and easy to read message.

The elasticated neck (approximately in the same position as your dog’s collar) allows for ease of movement and comfort when the dog sits or lies down. The bottom of the bib is a strong webbing strap with clip buckle underneath for adjustment to your dog's girth. The strap should be fastened behind the front legs for a comfortable fit.

Fully adjustable and can be worn alone or on top of a coat in cold weather. They can also be worn over most types of dog harness (depending on how far up the back the harness sits).

Message clothing should not replace good dog training but they can be useful if your dog has specific issues or during a time in their life where they need a little good grace.

Care - Wipe clean or gently hand wash in cool or lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Air dry flat. Do not tumble dry, dry clean or iron.

Sizing

Please measure your dog to get the correct fit. Measure along your dog's back from the bottom of their collar to the point on the back which lies above the back of their front legs (please see the illustration).

The neck is fixed but the girth is adjustable. If in doubt or your dog is potentially in-between sizes, you can size up and adjust the girth strap to the tighter position. The neck is designed to be loose fitting and it stretches so the dog can lie down without discomfort / choking.
