The Quick Muzzle simplifies muzzle application when speed is essential, reducing the risk of animal bites. These temporary-use muzzles are designed for special care, grooming, treating or any humane situation when it's necessary to briefly calm and stop inappropriate behaviour.

Quick Muzzle is constructed of durable, washable, light-weight, water and dirt resistant nylon pack cloth for years of use. The Webbing-reinforced construction is designed with safety in mind. The muzzle has adjustable straps for a safe and comfortable fit. The durable quick-release plastic buckle ensures fast efficient muzzle closure.

Safe responsible muzzle use

The Quick Muzzle is for supervised, short-term use only, to reduce the risk of bites in emergency or other situations that are temporary but pose a bite risk. Whilst wearing the muzzle the animal's ability to pant is reduced, which could compromise the animal's natural cooling system. This muzzle is for short-term, surpervised use only. Do NOT leave a pet unattended while in use and do not use when walking you dog. Temporary, brief and emergency use only.

The Quick Muzzle is a temporary restraint designed to reduce the risk of bites, but as with any restraint, it isn't foolproof. A muzzle is to be used with another method of restraint, with the animal handler holding the ultimate responsibility for safe control.

Which muzzle shape?

Standard sizes are perfect for average-snouted dogs from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs. Short Snout sizes are ideal for Chows and other short-snouted breeds. Long Snout sizes are ideal for long-snouted breeds such as Shelties, Collies and Greyhounds. The Brachycephalic sizes suit shortened head / flat faced dog breeds like Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Pug, Lhasa Apso etc... Please note that these muzzles may cover the dog's eyes.

How to fit

To put the muzzle on your dog, adjust the strap to an approximate fit. Working from behind the dog's head, hold the side straps and slip the muzzle over the snout. Position the straps under the ears. Snap the buckle shut and adjust the loose strap so it is tight for a secure fit. To remove simply release the buckle and remove.

The muzzle should fit snugly around the snout for the most reliable bite control.

Measuring and size guide - Standard, Short and Long Snout

Because of the great size variety within a breed, the end of snout circumference is the most accurate measurement to find a comfortable yet secure fit. Measure the circumference at the end of the nose.

The muzzle length is less important but will provide additional sizing accuracy. Measure from just below the eyes to the end of the snout.

For Brachycephalic breeds, no snout measurements are required. Instead, please be guided by your dog's weight and breed.
