Product info

These beautiful personalised raised single dog bowl wooden feeders are lovingly handmade in Derbyshire, UK. They look great in your home and help your dog to eat and drink in comfort without straining to reach the floor.

Personalised wooden dog bowls single bowl grey

They feature paw prints and can also be personalised with your dog's name or short text of your choice. The wood is finished with your choice of stain colour. Stunning.

No more knocking over of bowls plus these sturdy feeders with their non-slip feet will mean no more dogs chasing food bowls round the floor at meal times. Woof!

All the wood used is new wood that is Kite marked from the supplier. Each item is sanded, treated and finished in a pet friendly stain.

Choose from rustic grey, classic black (with silver or gold coloured text) or oak effect stain. The top of the raised wooden feeder is finished with a waterproof lacquer, to cope with spills.

The bowl provided can be easily removed for washing.

Raised feeders offer an anatomically correct feeding height for your dog. They improve your dog’s feeding posture and can aid better digestion. Raised bowls can be especially beneficial to larger dogs, older dogs or dogs with stiff joints or arthritis.

Best raised dog bowl height?

If you are unsure what height your dog needs, please see our advice here Raised Dog Bowls - All you need to know. It is important not to go too high. An elevated feeder or dog bowl stand should be just the right height for your dog to eat or drink with their head looking down and their neck also in a downwards position. Going too high can do more harm than good.

The best thing to do is to hold a bowl up while your dog is eating in a comfortable position. See where that comes to and choose the feeder height accordingly. Don't forget to also take the bowl depth into account. As a general rule, measure your dog from the floor to where their legs meet their body and don't get a raised bowl or feeder that is taller than that. That is the maximum height it should be.

Screw caps

Please note that these feeders now include screw caps. This gives a more professional finish, hiding the rough edges of the wood once it has been screwed. However, this does make them more prominent than pictured in the main product images. Please see the "Cyrus" feeder images for a better representation of the new screw caps. On the single feeders you might prefer not to have paw prints as they can land where the screws are.
