Small Plastic Dog Tag - Bone

We purchased a plastic dog tag because our Millie has a white coat and we found that metal tags, brass ,chrome and stainless steel soiled her hair around her neck turning it black, we don't have any trouble with the plastic tags.

Excellent quality, Monty gets up to all sorts of mischief including swimming, the tags always look as good as new. The only reasons I have replaced the tags is because of change of address or because I want a different colour. Best dog tags I have bought. The service from dfordog is also excellent.

I love this site so I was a little disappointed with this dog tag, we previously had ordered from the same range a round tag and were really impressed with the look, feel and durability of the tag. My puppy lost his other collar so we decided to buy another from the same range but bone shaped expecting it to be identical materials, however where previously the top coloured layer was that colour flat plastic engraved - sandwiching a white disc, now it is a textured surface and the colour was painted onto the white so after a few weeks wear already is not particularly legible and am left feeling I already need to purchase a new tag! Have all the tags in the range changed to this style or do I just need to stick with a round one?
