Each personalised dog portrait is created digitally by hand so you get a totally bespoke and customised portrait of your furry friend. Your dog's digital painting will be personalised with their name in a choice of cute fonts. You can also choose the background colour so everything about your pet portrait is perfect.

For the display you can choose a quality poster print simply printed or mounted in a white or black wooden frame. Alternatively you can go for a classic canvas print. The framed and canvas options arrive ready to hang so you don't have to wait to enjoy your dog art right away.

Poster, frame or canvas

To display your pet portrait, choose from:

Professional semi-gloss poster prints are printed in full sharp colour fidelity on high-quality 260gsm bright photo paper with a satin finish.

The real wood frames come in a matte black or matte white enamel finish. They feature shatterproof plexiglass with protective UV coating and ready to hang pre-installed hardware.

The gallery wrapped stretched canvas option has a premium gloss finish and is latex coated for UV protection. UK made and printed using sustainable water based inks. Arrives ready to hang.

Sizes

The following sizes are available. Sizes are also given in cm but this is approximate and for your guidance only.

For landscape sizes simply rotate e.g. 16 x 20 inches would become 20 x 16 inches.

Orientation

As most pet portraits are head/shoulders, the display is likely to be in portrait format. However, if the subject is wider than it is tall, your artwork will be produced in landscape. We recommend letting our artist choose the best orientation to suit the image you provide but if you have a preference, please select your preferred orientation above when ordering.

Photo requirements

For the best conversion from photo to illustration, please submit a high quality photo of your dog. Clear, well lit photos with plenty of detail make the best conversions. Photos lacking in focus, darker photos or even darker dogs may have less details. Please see Billie's portrait above as an example.

A head and shoulders photo is best, with preferably no part of the dog obscured or cut off. The background will be removed by hand by our digital artist. If an object is obscuring any part of your dog in the photo you provide or is an integral part of the dog's pose, that object may have to be included in the final artwork (e.g. a bed, cushion etc..). The same goes for any collars, leads etc..
