In tomorrow's episode of Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs, Paul falls for a very misunderstood resident at Battersea - a Greyhound called Sidney.

Paul O'Grady says 'Give Greyhounds a Chance'

Unfortunately for dogs like Sidney, Greyhounds take longer to rehome than other breeds at the rescue centre. This may be because people assume that Greyhounds need a lot of exercise or people don't think they are as 'cute' as other breeds.

Upon hearing this, Paul has taken it upon himself to campaign for these loving couch potatoes and asks people to 'give Greyhounds a chance'.

The truth is, Greyhounds are often the canine equivalent of a cat. Many who love to spend hours snoozing on the sofa and they are very loving and gentle dogs.

Sidney appears in Battersea's award-winning series Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs on Wednesday 20th November at 8pm on ITV.
